Round #1: All age eligible players are welcomed to attend one or more identification tryouts within the Southern California NTIS territory.
These identification tryouts will be a blend of a combine style format and college level practice. Workouts will include 60 yd run, defensive skills assessment, batting practice, home to 1B times, pop times and arm velocities. Pitchers will perform a 20-25 pitch bullpen as well as pitchers fielding practice and other team oriented defensive drills. NO LIVE GAMES will occur during these identification tryouts. In addition, NO PLAYER will be allowed to bypass Round #1.
The top players from these Round #1 tryouts will be invited to participate in the Round #2 Regional Tryout. See entire NTIS selection process description under FAQ's.
2018 17U NTIS: born on or after Jan. 1, 2001, for the 2019 18U National Team
2018 16U NTIS: born on or after Jan. 1, 2002, for the 2019 17U National Team Development Program
2018 15U NTIS: born on or after Jan. 1, 2003, for the 2019 16U National Team Development Program
Players should bring the following gear to participate
* Baseball Pants
* Belt & Socks
* Baseball Cleats
* Batting Helmet
* Baseball Bat (BBCOR or Wood). See specific listing of bats allowed under FAQ's section
* Protective Cup
* Catchers should bring their own catching gear
Check-in is 30 minutes prior to start time and players will be provided with a t-shirt.

Official Cancellation Policy for all USA Baseball NTIS events
Cancellations up to 14 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 100% refund of the registration fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the start of the event will receive a 50% refund. No exceptions will be made. The participating player or team will receive their refund back to the credit card on file within 30 days of the time of cancellation.
Post Tryout Meeting
Informational flyers will be passed out to parents and players explaining the identification tryout process for USA Baseball. All questions will be answered at this time.
Within the week of your tryout date, a final detailed email will be sent to all registered players to the email address provided at registration.
